The Philippine Consulate General in Milan conducted a successful mobile consular mission in Torino for Filipinos in the Piemonte region at the Filipino Chaplaincy on Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. This is the first mobile consular service this year in the Piemonte region.
Filipinos from Torino and neighboring cities availed of 399 various services where passport renewals were the most availed at 292 approved applications. Other consular services such as notarials, translations, civil registrations, amendment of passport validity, acknowledgement of legal documents and certifications were also processed and released on the same day. There were also numerous consular queries attended to by the mission.
Orderly and peaceful conduct of services were observed as a result of the Consulate’s continuing implementation of appointment system for passport renewals.
Partners agencies OWWA, POLO and Pag-IBIG also offered their respective services on the second day of the mission.
