The Consulate wishes to inform all Filipinos that effective 17 August 2015, all Filipinos who hold an immigrant visa must reserve and register online before attending the Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS) and the Peer Counseling Program (PCP) conducted by the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) in Manila.

The DFA offers extension of passport validity free of charge

The DFA offers to all applicants for passport renewals in the Philippines and abroad the extension of the validity of their passports (for 1 to 2 years) free of charge (gratis).

Extensions shall be processed and released within the same day. Passport extensions for all shall be available only until the end of this year.


The Consulate General is closed on official Philippine and Italian holidays for the rest of the year as follows:
